After the 0-0 in the first match between SV Werder Bremen and 1. FC Heidenheim, the teams went into an open game in the second leg. As the pressure was definitely up on Bundesliga side Werder Bremen, we saw a game that had it all: intense tackles, stunning goals and a fight until the last second – simply a relegation thriller at it’s best! In the end Bremen managed to survive in the Bundesliga by away goals in a 2-2 draw. Congratulations!
