Football: UEFA Champions League 2010 Quarter Final and Semi Final Draw

Football: uefa champions league 2010 quarter final and semi final draw 1The Quarter Final and Semi Final draw for this season’s UEFA Champions League 2010 was made this afternoon, at 12 o’clock CET, and has thrown some big fixtures, as expected.

Barcelona, so impressive this week when beating Stuttgart 4-0 at home have drawn Arsenal FC.

Manchester United will relive the Champions League Final of 1999 as they have drawn Bayern Munich.

An all French tie sees Lyon take on Bordeaux, while Inter Milan face CSKA Moscow.

Of the teams who impressed in the round of 16, Manchester United have perhaps the easiest route to the final, as the winner of their match will face either Lyon or Bordeaux, missing out potential danger ties against Inter Milan, Barcelona and Arsenal.

The Semi Finals will be played on 20th/21st and 27th/28th April 2010, while the final is due to be played at the Real Madrid Santiago Bernabéu stadium on 22nd May 2010.

  4. Yes, what about Inter – Mourinho has got them playing really well. Okay messi has it all in attack, but Inter’s defence is out of this world – and they can score through Eto’o too. Mourinho for another Champions League in 2010???!

  5. It looks as though everybody has forgotten about Inter Milan, though i think Manchester United is going to face a tough and sweet exit. I hope Arsenal makes it through or better still play a beautiful game, for that is why i support them.
