Football: Barclays Premier League Fixtures for Saturday 16th January 2010

Today English football returns to something approaching normality, with all but one of today’s scheduled Barclays Premier League matches looking likely to take place.

The match between Portsmouth and Birmingham is cancelled however.

We see Chelsea, Man Utd, Man city, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool from the top half of the table in action against clubs from below them: there don’t look to be many upsets on the cards, but Man United and Liverpool in particular will be hoping their recent form can improve with three points today to maintain title and Champion’s League places challenges respectively.
