FIFA World Cup 2010: Switzerland 23 Man Squad

Fifa world cup 2010: switzerland 23 man squad 1Switzerland have named their 23 man squad to travel to South Africa for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Swiss coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has selected a squad made up of players based in Switzerland (7), Germany (7), Italy (4), England (2), France (2) and Holland (1).

The Swiss side does not feature many big name players, but has a core of very solid defenders as well as a number os seasoned campaigners which will make them a tricky outfit to break down.

Switzerland will be hoping to progress from Group H which also features Chile, Honduras and favourites Spain.
