Michael Jung & FischerTakinou – Full Performance – FEI Classics™ 2016/17 – Les Etoiles de Pau Day 2

Michael Jung has once again put himself at the top of the leader board at the FEI Classics™ in Pau, but on a different horse following the second day of dressage.

The Ground Jury, Wayne Quarles (USA), Christina Klingspor (SWE) and Alain James (FRA) awarded the only sub-40 mark, 39.3, for his performance on FischerTakinou. It is quite the comeback for the nine-year-old by Jaguar Mail, as he missed the Olympics due to a blood infection caused by a tick, and even more remarkable when considering this is the chestnut gelding’s first four star.

Jung tops the overnight leader board but as Rio Olympic course designer Pierre Michelet has set a testing, technical track for tomorrow’s cross country anything could happen and who knows what day 3 from the 2016 Les Etoiles de Pau will bring?
