Rising equestrian star, Juan Matute Guimon, 22, is in hospital in critical condition after suffering a brain bleed earlier this week.
His sister, Paula, left the following family statement on Instagram alongside a photograph of her hugging her brother.
In behalf of my family as well as myself I would like to thank you all for the messages and calls, however we are incapable to speak much at this time. My brother Juan is suffering from severe brain bleeding and he is in critical condition, the cause is yet unknown. More than ever I ask that we all unite, come together to give my brother the strength he needs to battle.
I know you can’t read this or hear me but I love you brother, you will make it out of this ❤️ .
