Tour de France 2020 – Un jour Une histoire : Pinot 2019

Les coureurs français sont à la fête sur le Tour 2019, où Julian Alaphilippe assure le spectacle en promenant le Maillot Jaune dans tout le pays. En haute montagne, ils ne manquent pas de talents non plus et bien qu’il ait perdu du temps sur une bordure dans l’étape d’Albi, Thibaut Pinot se montre au sommet de sa forme et de son art dans l’étape du Tourmalet. Dans les deux derniers kilomètres, alors que Geraint Thomas commence à céder du terrain, le coureur de la FDJ précipite la sélection et parvient à larguer tous ses adversaires dans les deux cents derniers mètres, comme porté par les encouragements survoltés de son manager Marc Madiot. A l’arrivée, c’est un doublé français complété par Julian Alaphilippe qui domine l’étape. Le pays entier commence à croire aux chances de Pinot pour la gagne…
