Le Critérium du Dauphiné met aux prises les favoris du Tour de France à quelques semaines de la Grande Boucle.
Pour cette 69ème édition, le Dauphiné fait étape pour la deuxième fois de son histoire à l’Alpe d’Huez.
En 2017, le parcours comprend 8 étapes pour une distance totale de 1151,5 kilomètres avec un départ de Saint-Etienne et une arrivée au plateau de Solaison.
