As the 2021 regular season comes to a close, San Francisco and Los Angeles- the teams with the top two records in the game- are battling it out for the NL West title. The Dodgers- Giants rivalry is one of the fiercest and longest standing in all of sports, dating back to when they were both in New York in the 19th Century. And with so much on the line in this final week…..and then a possible meeting in October, the rivalry is ready to add another chapter to its long and storied history.
