The Australian Showjumping Team of James Patterson Robinson on Niack de L’Abbaye, Harley Brown on Cassiato, Thaisa Erwin on Waddison, and Damien Guthrie on Gilmore 38 put in a great performance to finish 3rd in the tough Nations Cup class. The USA won the event, followed by Canada, then Australia.
James Patterson Robinson led the Australians with a superb double clear round on Ger Pols great stallion, Niack de L’Abbaye, one of only two posted by any rider, the other being McLain Ward on the great Sapphire.
The U.S. dominated the international field, and Wellington CSIO4* welcomed teams from Venezuela, Mexico, Australia, Ireland, Great Britain, Canada and Colombia.
