The BUPA Edingburgh International Cross Country takes place today, with Kenenisa Bekele the double Olympic and World champion four time winner of the event heading the men’s field.
The women’s event is set to be ultra-competitive too, with Scotlan’s Stephanie Twell, 19, lining up against Etheopian Tirunesh Dibaba and Vivian Cheruiyot who have won Olympic and World titles respectively over 5,000 metres.
The races will take place in Holyrood Park, overlooked by the Queen’s Edinburgh palace. British viewers can see coverage between 1 and 2:30pm on BBC Sport.
