have the Lions and Tigers and Bears for instance — and a plethora of team names based off a
bird species! Like the Cardinals, Ravens, Hawks, and so on.
Those are cool and all, but some of the more popular and iconic sports team names aren’t
animal-based whatsoever. With that said, let’s dive into our 10 favorites non-animal team names
in sports.
