With Drew Sample and Mitchell Wilcox having fought injuries during the preseason, the Bengals brought in tight end O.J. Howard. The Buffalo Bills released the latter on Tuesday despite owing Howard $3.195 million on the one-year $3.5 million contract signed during the offseason.
