TPS published this video item, entitled “10 NFL Stars You NEVER Expected To Bounce Back After Fans Completely WROTE THEM OFF…” – below is their description.

Here are NFL stars that came back when everybody thought they were done.

People are suckers for a good comeback story… And the NFL universe is no exception!

Fans go absolutely crazy when they see a former NFL star, who had hit rock bottom, bounce back!

This is the case whether the player struggles due to an injury, some off the field controversy—self inflicted or otherwise—or even a guy who is getting up there in years and goes off after a couple of down seasons.

Nothing like the American tradition of building stars up, so we can tear them down—and applaud if they rise from the ashes!

Let’s take a look at 10 NFL stars who bounced back strong after the fans wrote them off.

In This Story: The Ashes

The Ashes is a Test cricket series played between England and Australia. The term originated in a satirical obituary published in a British newspaper, The Sporting Times, immediately after Australia’s 1882 victory at The Oval, its first Test win on English soil.

The competition alternates between England and Australia, who host every two years (this varies a little based on the Southern Hemisphere having summer during Northern Hemisphere’s winter), the Ashes is a series of five Test matches, which are each played over five days.
