Each year, between four and eight individuals who have been retired for at least five seasons get inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. They are immortalized as some of the best the game has ever seen—and you can tell just how much it means to a lot of those guys.

But not everyone loves the NFL Hall of Fame selection process, as it has somehow forgotten about some of the game’s truly special players.
