2010 Commonwealth Games: India Takes First Medals on Home Soil

Nigeria claimed the first gold of the 2010 Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in the women’s 48kg weightlifting competition. India also claimed its first medals of the home tournament, taking both silver and bronze.
