A car bomb has exploded outside Civil Guard barracks on the Spanish island of Majorca (Mallorca) this afternoon, shortly after noon local time.
The blast took place in Palma Nova.
Early reports indicate there have been at least two fatalities, both of whom are believed to be Civil Guards.
The news follows a car bomb in Northern Spanish town, Burgos, similarly placed near barracks, which injured at least 46 people yesterday, according to Reuters.
Yesterday’s blast was blamed on Basque separatist group Eta, though details are yet to be confirmed on today’s attack.
