Servicemen to Receive VIP Treatment at a Charity Golf Tournament at PGA West

The tournament will feature special hospitality for US troops

Free ground passes and complimentary transportation, food and drink will be available for all Active Duty Service Members and their families as part of the Humana Challenge Tournament.

144 PGA Tour professionals and 144 amateurs, including celebrities, will take part in the tournament, competing for the Bob Hope Memorial Trophy. The event is expected to raise around $1 million for the Eisenhower Medical Center and other local charities.

The William J. Clinton Foundation is co-sponsoring the tournament at the Palmer and Nicklaus Private Courses at PGA WEST and at La Quinta Country Club in Southern California. The former President will speak as part of a related national conference on wellbeing on Tuesday 17th January 2012.
