Rugby Union Poll: Who Will Win RBS 6 Nations 2011?

With one of the most popular tournaments in Rugby Union – certainly the most popular in the Northern Hemisphere – the RBS 6 Nations, kicking off on Friday, its time to grapple with the important question regarding the potential winner.

All this week, we’ll be providing full previews and analysis for each of this year’s opening matches – but before, during and after you have read those pieces, we want to hear your opinion, too.

Please select the team you think will win the 2011 RBS 6 Nations tournament using the poll below. After you have done so, leave your rationale in the comment section at the bottom of this page – why have you selected that team? who do you think will score the points? How important will home advantage for the big matches prove to be?

The bookmakers make England favourites, followed by France, then Ireland, Wales and Scotland. They think that Italy are favourites to finish bottom, too. Do you agree?

This poll will expire just before Friday’s opening match between Wales and England kicks-off – be sure to vote before then.
