Rory Sabbatini Wins Honda Classic

South Africas Rory Sabbatini won the Honda Classic at Palm Beach Gardens yesterday, after holding a 5 stroke advantage before the start of round 5 on Sunday morning.

The reputed hot headed Sabbatini threatened to throw away his lead, but Sabbatini drained an 18-foot birdie putt at the par-4 16th to give himself some much-needed breathing room.

Eventually he held out  to second place getter to win by one shot over Korea’s Y.E. Yang, after surviving a 30 minute weather delay, and also a birdie on the the 72nd hole by Yang.
