RBS 6 Nations 2011: Alex Corbisiero to Debut for England Against Italy, Replacing Injured Andrew Sheridan

England prop, Andrew Sheridan, has today been forced to pull out of Saturday’s home RBS 6 Nations 2011 fixture against Italy with a back injury, which means that Alex Corbisiero, of London Irish, will make his England debut in his place.

Alex Corbisiero, 23, had been due to play for London Irish against Newcastle Falcons this weekend, but has been brought straight into the starting XV by England coach Martin Johnson, after Andrew Sheridan failed to recover from back pain which surfaced in training on Thursday.

England v Italy will kick-off at 14:30 GMT (15:30 CET) at Twickenham, London, on Saturday 12th February 2011.
