It seems increasingly clear that Turkey is moving headlong towards a dictatorship. Or at least one of those strange hybrids that have become so popular throughout the world that consists of the irreconcilable relationship between an apparent democracy and strong autocratic foundations. Hybrids in which authoritarian governments try to pretend to be democratic.

Since Erdogan took over the reins in Turkey almost two decades ago, this once democratic country has gone from being a favorite to join the European Union, to experiencing a complete democratic regression. But of course, we are in the 21st century, a time when every dictatorship needs to control the freest space that exists: the internet.

In this video, we tell you how Erdogan has established a harsh censorship that already conditions the life of all Turkish citizens. And the question is, should we be concerned that one day our governments might decide to emulate the course of Erdogan in Turkey? In this video, we give you all the details.
