Trump Orders States to Let Churches and Houses of Worship Reopen

May.22 — President Donald Trump ordered states to allow churches and houses of worship to re-open “right now.” Churches would be declared “essential” services under CDC guidelines, he said. They had been closed to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
