Taiwan Urges WHO to Let It Join Key Annual Meeting

May.06 — Taiwan urged the World Health Organization to allow it to rejoin a key global health assembly later this month despite objections from China. Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo again criticized China’s handling of the pandemic, while easing off of claims the virus escaped from a laboratory there. John Liu reports on “Bloomberg Markets: Asia.”
