Oct.13 — Russian President Vladimir Putin denied that his country is using energy as a weapon, calling it “politically-motivated blather” at the Russian Energy Week conference in Moscow on Wednesday. “This is not something we tend to use even during the hardest parts of the Cold War. Russia regularly has fulfilled its contractual obligations and supplied gas to Europe.”
