The Prime Minister of Malaysia, Mohamed Najib bin Abdul Razak, has been in the Gulf this week in a series of visits to leaders in the Middle East.
On 14th May 2011 he landed in Doha for a two day visit in Qatar, where he met the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al-Mahmoud and Malaysian Ambassador to Qatar, Ahmed Jazari bin Mohamed Jawhar.
Official talks were chaired by the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jabor Al-Thani. The two then proceeded to host an official state banquet for the Malaysian leader.
Mr Razak then proceeded to Saudi Arabia where he was greeted by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and held talks with senior officials including Chief of General Intelligence Prince Miqrin bin Abdulaziz.
