Kremlin ‘Taken by Surprise’ by Belarus Uprising: Forbrig

Aug.28 — The Kremlin was “taken by surprise” by the developments in Belarus, the German Marshall Fund’s Director for Central and Eastern Europe Joerg Forbrig said. He spoke on “Bloomberg Markets: European Open” as NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg met with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin.
