Viktor Orbán has become one of the most controversial political figures in Europe. His crusade against Brussels, immigrants and more recently the LGBT movement, are just a small sample of what is, little by little, becoming one of the most authoritarian regimes in Europe. At least that is the complaint that his opponents and detractors constantly make: that Viktor Orbán’s Hungary is in danger of losing its democratic character.

But what’s the truth in all this, what exactly is the Hungarian government after, and is the criticism of Hungary’s one-time champion against communism really justified? In this video we answer these and other questions.
