Aug.18 — Former Canadian Finance Minister Joe Oliver joined BNN Bloomberg to give his take on Bill Morneau stepping down from his role of finance minister. He says that the first thing Chrystia Freeland will need to do as she steps up to the plate to replace Morneau is to create confidence that she is the right politician for the role.
