Dutch PM Rutte on EU Recovery Plan, Governance

Jul.17 — European Union leaders are meeting in Brussels today to discuss a radical 750 billion-euro fund designed to help the bloc’s economies recover from the worst recession in living memory. Leaders are still deeply divided over key issues, including the size and makeup of the fund, and crucially, its governance. Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte says there is less than 50% chance a deal gets through. He spoke at a doorstep to Bloomberg’s Maria Tadeo.
