The hyperinflation of the late ‘80s, the default and the corralito at the beginning of the century or the economic collapse that the country has been experiencing since 2015 and which has forced it to negotiate with the IMF yet again. This last bailout totalled no less than 56 billion dollars.
Argentina has become a synonym for economic crisis. However, in recent years a new hope has spread through Argentina and with it the hope that they may finally leave their problems behind. We’re talking about Dead Cow, a huge natural gas and oil field. The question is, could Dead Cow be transformed into the cash cow that will change the future of Argentina?
