Sep.16 — China has applied to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership, better known as the CPTPP. This is the trade pact that was pushed by U.S. President Barack Obama as a way to isolate China. President Trump pulled out of that deal in 2017. Bloomberg’s James Mayger reports on “Bloomberg Daybreak: Asia.”
