Telefónica and ZTE Launch Light Pro Tablet Computer for Spanish Market

The Light Pro tablet computer will hit the Spanish market in May 2011 courtesy of Telefónica and ZTE.

Features include:

  • Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system
  • 7 inch HGVA touch screen
  • New tablets include Mutua Madrid Open application, which provides information on the players, statistics and a match schedule for the tournament in real time.
  • Light Pro tablet combines Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity
  • Bluetooth® enabled
  • 3 megapixel camera
  • Built-in GPS
  • PC compatible via USB

Movistar will sell the Light Pro tablets exclusively in Spain from May. Contracts price the tablet at €0 – €19 for individuals and €0 – €119 for businesses. Free tablet plans for individuals include the Internet Maxi flat-rate plan (€49 /month). Individuals may also purchase the Light Pro for €19 with the Internet Plus flat-rate plan (€39/month).
