In her Spring Summer 2012 collection, Emilia Wickstead presents a stunning new Parisian print across an ensemble of prim 1950’s Miss Moneypenny style outfits. A cut above, these pieces evoke a nostalgic sense of the truly classy lady about her business in the cafés of the French capital.
With basic round collars, gathered seams and modest hem lines Wickstead has brought a touch of decorum and grace to a fashion gathering more noted for its rock ‘n’ roll credentials.
Following on perfectly with the Bond-esque theme, the show was hosted at the Connaught Hotel complete with 50’s light fittings and befitting luxury. The stylists to Samantha Cameron and Gwyneth Paltrow were both in attendance along with socialites India Hicks, Amanda Sheppard, Lohralee Astor.
