Paris Fashion: Jan Taminiau Winter 2010

Jan Taminau’s collection provides much needed shimmer to brighten up this Winter. Modernist headpieces sported along with nude trains and sequinned minidresses, gave the runway a 60’s spacewear edge.

A metallic palette, exaggerated shoulders and plunging necklines are in line with many of the collections exhibited at Paris couture week. However, Taminiau makes his mark with tight waistlines, light colours and swathes of sequin and sparkle.

The Dutch atelier is well loved by HRH Princess Maxima of the Netherlands and looks set to become another firm favourite of high society this Winter.
