OKI Electric Industry Passes Key European Central Bank Test

ATM Recycle G7

The European Central Bank requires ATMs which handle Euro banknotes to pass the “Article 6” test, which proves that the machine is capable of detecting and removing counterfeit notes, as well as tracing counterfeit users.

The ATM Recycle G7 from OKI Electric Industry (TOKYO:6703) in Japan has just passed the test, allowing it to market its machines in Europe. It is the first Asia-based manufacturer to do so.
