Rolv Wesenlund, the popular Norweigan comedian, has died aged 76. The famed jazz musician and comedic actor passed away in Oslo on 18th August 2013.
Wesenlund was a pioneer of television humour in the 1960’s. He played the protagonist in Bør Børson, Bør Børson II, and appeared as Marve Fleksnes in the TV series Fleksnes Fataliteter.
Norway’s Prime Minister, Jens Stoltenberg, paid tribute to the actor and comedian, saying he “made small folks big.” The Norweigan government has decided to honour the memory of Wesenlund and will pay for the funeral expenses.
