An independent review panel set up by the World Health Organization (WHO) on May 12 censured the world governments for their COVID-19 response, saying a series of bad decisions had allowed the virus to kill at least 3.3 million people and devastate the global economy. Dr Zhong Nanshan, China’s top respiratory expert and one of the 13 members of the panel, spoke exclusively with CGTN about the panel’s findings.
