One week since the tragic floods in central China, residents in the Henan provincial capital Zhengzhou have been mourning the victims killed in the subway train flooding on July 20, 2021. Most of the trapped passengers were rescued except for 14 people, who perished when floodwaters entered the subway tunnel and engulfed one of the train carriages.
