Ahead of Earth Day, UN Secretary-General António Guterres had a follow-up call with two young women activists, both of whom he previously met at UN-led climate-related events. They discussed issues – preserving biodiversity, cutting greenhouse gas emissions, as well as adaptation measures – surrounding the climate emergency, calling for stronger international solidarity to forge a sustainable and inclusive path forward.
