    Political parties should shoulder the historic responsibility of seeking happiness for the people and progress for humanity, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Tuesday. Xi, also general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, made the remarks in a keynote speech delivered at the CPC and World Political Parties Summit via video link.
