Xi Jinping to address AIIB annual meeting of board of governors

#Chinese President Xi Jinping will deliver a speech Tuesday at the opening ceremony of the annual board meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (#AIIB). The meeting, the fifth for the #Beijing-based bank, will be held via video link. The meeting will bring together AIIB’s governors and senior management along with other stakeholders and experts. A key focus will be on how to build a more inclusive and resilient world. There will be discussions on the importance of partnerships to connect markets, build greener economies, close the digital divide and navigate the challenges ahead. The AIIB, set up in 2015, finances projects in areas such as power generation, transport, rural infrastructure, environmental protection and logistics.
