Xi Jinping: Expert teams will continue follow-up in Hubei

Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, has called for efforts to consolidate the achievements in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 outbreak in central China’s Hubei Province, which was the hardest-hit region in the country. He said the CPC Central Committee will continue to send expert teams to the province. They will help the follow-up work on local epidemic prevention and control, guide patient treatment, and conduct psychological counseling. Xi Jinping also called for accelerating the implementation of supportive policies to Hubei and the overall resumption of daily life. He pointed out that the country should learn from Hubei’s prevention and control measures and improve epidemic monitoring and early-warning capabilities.
