An honour has been given for a wartime hero who helped defeat Hitler and saved tens of thousands of lives in the process.

Lorna Corkayne was given France’s highest award for her work as codebreaker at Bletchley Park.

She told ITV News the honour isn’t just for her – but for all the Wrens who played a pivotal role in winning the war, as Sejal Karia reports.
