The World Trade Organization said that U.S. President Trump’s tariffs on Chinese imports have violated global trade regulations. A panel at the WTO issued the ruling Tuesday. It does not obligate the U.S. to remove the tariffs, but it does say Washington has not been able to justify how the tariffs protect American trade interests.
