Worldwide death toll from coronavirus surpasses 200,000 | ABC News

According to figures from Johns Hopkins University in the US, five countries have over 20,000 deaths as a result of COVID-19 – Italy, Spain, France, the UK and the United States. There are 2.8 million confirmed cases around the world, while 810,000 people are known to have recovered from the virus.
