South China Morning Post published this video item, entitled “World’s largest hydro-solar farm floats atop reservoir in Thailand” – below is their description.
A hydro-solar farm floating on waters of the Sirindhorn reservoir in Thailand’s northeastern province of Ubon Ratchathani is the largest of its kind in the world. Comprising more than 144,000 solar cells, and covering over 72 hectares (178 acres), the array has a power-generating capacity of 45 megawatts. The energy project is part of Thailand’s push to become carbon neutral by 2050, and to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2065.
