World Food Programme calls for free movement of aid

The World Food Programme has been asking countries to allow for free movement of food and humanitarian services in a bid to avert the risk of increased hunger during the pandemic. It said at least 30,000,000 people globally depend on food aid to survive. The agency has been using its new humanitarian hub based in Ethiopia to manage logistics in Africa.
