Join FAO New York for a virtual celebration of #WorldFoodDay 2020! Both FAO and the UN are marking their 75th anniversaries this year, against the unexpected backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic. This global health crisis has allowed us to reflect on and cherish our most basic needs, rekindling our appreciation for food. That’s why we believe that, now more that ever, it is important to acknowledge and support our #FoodHeroes: farmers and workers throughout the food system who are making sure that supply chains stay alive, and food makes its way from farm to fork, even amidst disruptions.
