Workers from Pacific Islands paying hundreds for cramped quarters in regional Australia | ABC News

The Pacific Labour Scheme offers workers from island nations a chance to earn a decent living in Australia, but some participants say high accommodation costs and other deductions during the pandemic shutdown is drastically affecting that.

The company which employs the workers has announced an investigation into employee conditions.
